March 9, 2003:

Voters:

Last week's winner was William for his quote of "I add something to this class. It may be a negative number, but it's still an addition operator in my book," said in computers class.

A review of the voting process: I send you a list of nominees each week, and you reply by listing as many of them as you see fit from favorite to least favorite. List only the nominees' names, not the quotes themselves, distinguishing between two quotes from the same person by using parenthetical statements like "Julian (e-bay)" and "Richard (ice cream)".

And now the NOMINEES:
"Classic architecture lasts forever. Weird architecture is good for a week, and then it should be bombed." -Richard
"Masterpiece theater is like Wishbone for adults." -Jeff
"Ah, rural Maine--a place of romance." -Julian
"I'm a Republican. I don't kill anyone, I just eat babies." -Ben Copans
"I don't think e-bay sanctions the slave trade." -Julian
"Ice cream's good for you. It's better than feral cyanide. Although feral cyanide does solve all your problems." -Richard
"I don't want to kill any overpriced children. Their parents can afford good lawyers." -Roz's mom, on being careful in a school parking lot
"'Directed by Alan Shankman.' A waste of a Jew." -Jenn, watching the movie 'A Walk to Remember'

Lists of the Honorable Mentions for this week are available upon request. Voting closes Tuesday afternoon at 5:00. Quote of the Week will be airing reruns for the next three weeks (for March vacation), but will be back with new episodes in April.
